Weezer Biography and History
Formed in Los Angeles in 1992, Weezer became a defining band of 1990s alternative rock. Its self-titled debut, commonly known as the Blue Album, introduced a bright, hook-focused sound that helped establish the group's lasting following. Later releases, including Pinkerton, added a more personal edge to the band's songwriting, while subsequent albums continued to explore power-pop melodies and crunchy guitar arrangements.
Among Weezer's best-known songs are “Buddy Holly,” “Say It Ain't So,” “Undone – The Sweater Song,” “Island in the Sun” and “Beverly Hills.” The band's catalogue spans decades, giving this bill appeal to longtime listeners as well as fans drawn to its energetic, singalong-ready alternative rock. Pixies' presence makes the event a pairing of two prominent names in alternative music.

Venue and Seating Information
Freedom Mortgage Pavilion is a 25,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater on Camden's waterfront, across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. Concert layouts generally include covered reserved seating, a general-admission lawn and, for some shows, pit or orchestra areas. The event-specific chart is the best reference for the exact setup.
For a balanced view and a more reliable seat, consider the lower center reserved sections beneath the covered area. Pit or orchestra tickets, if offered for this concert, are the closest option to the stage. The lawn is a more casual choice, but it sits farther back and is exposed to the weather; fans seeking close views, a guaranteed seat or weather cover may prefer reserved seating.
Parking Information
Parking is available in lots around the Camden Waterfront, with prices and availability varying by event. Lot 1 / VIP Parking is directly across from the pavilion, at Clinton Street and Second Street, Camden, NJ 08103. It requires the appropriate VIP pass; the venue does not publish a fixed price, and rates may vary by show. Check parking information before travelling.
- Premium Parking: Near 2nd and Clinton Street; event pricing applies.
- Front Door Parking: Near Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Riverside Drive; availability and pricing vary.
- General waterfront lots: Additional options are located around the venue, with walking distance dependent on the lot.
- RiverLink Ferry: A non-driving alternative for Philadelphia visitors travelling from Penn's Landing to the Camden waterfront; service and fares vary.
Arriving early can help avoid the traffic that builds around the waterfront before major concerts. Parking payment may be credit-card only, so check current event guidance and do not assume cash will be accepted.
Weezer Chester reviews
Big ticket was nice
"I hope this becomes an annual thing. The big ticket reminded me of planet fest a bunch, but it was still really good. My friend and I were treated really well when we were chosen to go backstage, and we had a ton of fun. Even with the zoom on my camera, I had a better view in the main crowd. The list of bands was extremely varied, and I loved that even though the lead singer of the Paper Tongues was sick, he showed up. I do wish u people would make it better know when and where the bands were signing. I was VIP, and the only other thing I wish they had changed was I wish the section was a little closer."
